Lubricating grease
The main effect of the grease is lubrication, protection and sealing.
The vast majority of the grease is used for lubrication, so they are called anti-friction grease. The Anti-friction grease is mainly for reducing the mechanical friction and preventing mechanical wear and tear. In the meanwhile, it can prevent the metal corrosion and sealing and proof dust
Some of the grease is mainly used for preventing metal rust or corrosion, so named as protection grease.
A little of the grease is designed fro sealing such as industrial vaseline, so we call them sealing grease like thread compound. Most of them is half solid, with a unique liquidity.
The working principle of the grease is using the densifier to keep the oil remain in the position for lubricating, when loading, the densifier will release the oil to lubricate.
When under the normal temperature and static state, it can keep the shape and be immobilization just like solid,, can stick on the metal. When temperature becomes high or the force on it is exceeded, it can flow like liquid.
When there is shearing action from the moving parts on the Grease in mechanical, it will flow and lubrication, to reduce the friction between the moving surface and wear. After the shearing action stop, it will become half solid again. This special liquidity of the Grease makes it suitable for lubricating the parts when lubricating oil is useless.
In addition, the sealing effect and protective effect is better than the lubricating oil cause it is semi solid.
